Looking Forward at PMMI’s Annual Meeting

June 28th, 2012 · No Comments · Connections

PMMI’s 2012 Annual Meeting (Sept. 10-12; Spokane, Wash.) will revisit the “Waves of Change…Oceans of Opportunity” theme, with sessions on cloud computing and the future of the economy, then taking a big picture approach to the changes we can see along the road ahead.

“PMMI’s Annual Meeting has always been about the macro view, helping leaders move their companies to greater success,” said Tom Egan, vice president of industry services, PMMI. “With volatile marketplaces and technologies introducing new possibilities every day, the only way to make the most of these changes is to look ahead.”

PMMI has invited Richard C. Hawley from AT&T global enterprises to speak on the prospects and challenges presented by cloud computing in the manufacturing sector, while Evergreen Pacific Partners’ Dave Dandel will discuss New Technologies.

Attendees can also expect an enlightening discussion from economist Alan Beaulieu of ITR Economics®, who will use his wit and wisdom to help them make sense of the economic news and anticipate what’s on the way.

Access Global Markets with Annual Export Conference

The 2012 Annual Meeting will close with the annual Export Conference.

“The export marketplace represents a great opportunity, as developing nations increase their imports of North American machinery. The Export Conference session at the 2012 Annual Meeting will help members understand and engage in these international opportunities,” said Jorge Izquierdo, vice president of market development, PMMI

The 2012 Export Conference will feature an introductory session on why members need to be involved in the world market and how they can get there, as well as a focus on India with Indo-Bras Consulting’s Anand Hemnani.
