PMMI Board of Directors to Consider 22 Applications for Membership

At its spring meeting, held in conjunction with PMMI’s Executive Leadership Conference (April 3-5; Aventura, Fla.), the PMMI Board of Directors will vote on membership applications from the following packaging and processing solutions providers:

General Membership

ALLIEDFLEX Technologies, Inc (Sarasota, Fla.) builds machines for manufacturing stand-up pouches making machines.

Boss Packaging Inc. (Calgary, Alberta, Canada) manufactures bagging machinery.

GEA Process Engineering, Inc., (Hudson, Wisc.) manufactures conveyors, and filling and drying equipment.

Haver Filling Systems, Inc. (Conyers, Ga.) manufactures bag-filling machinery.

M-Tek Inc. (Elgin, Ill.) manufactures modified-atmosphere packaging systems.

Orientech Automation Solutions Inc. (Lachute, Quebec, Canada) manufactures a variety of automation and feeding equipment.

Pineberry Manufacturing (Oakville, Ontario, Canada) manufactures friction feeders and collating systems.

REB/Quality Cup (Menomonie, Wis.) manufactures filling and conveying machinery.

Rethceif Packaging (Ossian, Ind.) manufactures form/fill/seal machinery.

Supplier Membership:

c3controls (Beaver, Pa.) produces sensors and control components.

Eaton Corporation (Moon Township, Pa.) manufactures machine control software and control and safety components.

Enfield Technologies (Trumbull, Conn.) manufactures control, motion and safety components for the packaging industry.

Mitsubishi Electric Automation, Inc. (Vernon Hills, Ill.) manufactures control systems for the packaging industry.

Schmersal Inc. (Tarrytown, NY) produces software, safety components and sensors.

Testing Machines Inc. (New Castle, Del.) produces material testing equipment.

Materials Membership:

Adhesive Products Inc. (Albany, Calif.) manufactures many types of glues, adhesives, and coatings for packaging.

Celplast Metallized Products Limited (Toronto, Ontario, Canada) manufactures various films for the packaging industry.

Ultra Flex Packaging Corp (Brooklyn, NY) manufactures films, pouches and paperboard for the packaging industry.

Processing Membership:

BEST Sorting (Englewood, Colo.) manufactures grading systems for food products.

Probat Burns Inc. (Vernon Hills, Ill.) produces machinery and components for coffee processing.

Urschel Laboratories, Inc. (Valparaiso, Ind.) manufacturers food cutting equipment.

Walker Engineered Products (New Lisbon, Wis.) manufacturers a broad range of storing, mixing and blending vessels.

    please explain how a japanese company (that happens to do some of its manufacturing in the USA ) can be a member. this to me is a disgrace to the PMMI founding members intentions.

    Thank you for taking the time to comment and for getting involved in PMMI. We appreciate hearing from you.

    The Supplier Membership category was designed to help our members connect with their global suppliers. This membership type serves a different purpose in our organization than a General Membership, by supporting General Member operations. For that reason, it is not a requirement that Supplier or Materials members be headquartered in the United States or Canada.
