PMMI Vice Chairman Nick Wilson, president, Morrison Container Handling Solutions spoke to crowds at the Mexican Chamber of Processed Foods (CANAINCA) convention and the Italian Packaging Association’s (UCIMA) PACKOLOGY trade show in the last three weeks, focusing on trends and workforce development.

In Mexico, Wilson used major PMMI studies, including the annual Vision 2015 report, to highlight several leading concerns for U.S. CPGs, including food safety, health and wellness, and sustainable packaging

The focus in Italy was on education, where Wilson spoke to a group of US students and international journalists about the importance of training and education to moving the packaging and processing industries forward. He noted a number of PMMI U programs that are helping to support the industry at all levels.
